Learning from COVID19

This virus spreads through droplets transmitted into the air from coughing or sneezing, which people nearby can take in through their nose, mouth, or eyes. The viral particles in these droplets travel quickly to the back of your nasal passages and to the mucous membranes in the back of your throat, attaching to a particular receptor in cells, beginning there.
38 trillion bacteria and 380 trillion viruses already reside within the human body, many of which hare rather in a symbiotic relationship with human species. But Novel Corona Virus is certainly not that kind, and rather is a pathogen attacking mass human existence.
Like many other microorganisms, COVID-19 may also potentially survive within our physical body, without threatening its host’s existence. However, since it is an aggressive being, the way it behaves in the body becomes so overwhelming for the physical body which has its own consciousness, that our body starts to feel as if it is being attacked. Our immune system gets pumping, white blood cells – which are the key players in our immune system start to move through blood and tissues and throughout the physical body, looking for such foreign invaders. This gets the body into a fighting mode. All that it wants to get rid of this virus and save itself.
However, the virus itself just wants to live or perhaps simply coexist. It is not attacking the human tissues and is rather a guest who wants to get comfortable in a new home and perhaps make it it’s own. symbiotically.
The consciousness of the physical body is challenged. We fear that this virus will attack the physical body to violate our comfort zone. We have a mental, emotional, and physical comfort zone – the essence of which is encapsulated in the word ‘home’. So, within our body, the virus is trying to create home for itself whilst our immune system wants to kill it and protect its home.
Coronavirus particles have spiked proteins sticking out from their surfaces, and these spikes hook onto cell membranes, allowing the virus’s genetic material to enter the human cell. That genetic material proceeds to “hijack the metabolism of the cell and say, in effect, ‘Don’t do your usual job. Your job now is to help me multiply and make the virus.”
The consciousness of the physical body becomes so threatened by this invader that it starts to attack its own tissues from lungs, kidneys, and other infected areas where the virus tries to create a habitat for itself.
If you think deeply, what is another way to deal with this virus? Most logically, the answer I feel is to ‘accommodate’ it within our physical body. Know that viruses are known to mutate themselves into milder versions of themselves in many cases.
This theory makes me wonder, what if we become less defensive to protect our current identity? What if we allow ourselves to be thrown into a little discomfort? What if we let go of the idea of a well chalked out life? What if we embrace and accept strangers and welcome them to our homes? What if we open our hearts to a bit of unconditional love for all the beings that exist, including COVID-19?
If this can be done, as a healer I feel our immune system will not have to fight the virus but in fact, the virus will mutate itself to stay in our bodies for as long as it is comfortable and leave when its role of pushing us to our new sense of being is accomplished when we stop resisting and start embracing all that seems to be comfortable within and outside of us.
I know many people will not agree with me. I am not a scientist nor a medical professional, some of my stuff may not be medically accurate. But I am a Healer who believes in the power of love that each one of us holds within our existence. We all are nothing but the Beings of Light, here on planet Earth to understand the deeper meaning of Love, of our existence at large.
I sure hope we all can learn to harness this power which is innate to our being more than ever to heal ourselves of this virus’s negative energetic imprints.
I am a strong believer that there is a spiritual purpose behind everything that happens, whether that is what we perceive as being good or being bad. Let us not focus on the dark side of this game.
As I meditate upon this, I want to share with you what I feel the Corona/ Covid-19 virus is really doing to us:
- It is reminding us that we are all equal, regardless of our culture, religion, occupation, financial situation, or how famous we are. This disease treats us all equally, perhaps we should too.
- It is reminding us that we are all connected and something that affects one person has an effect on another. It is reminding us that the false borders that we have put up have little value as this virus does not need a passport. It is reminding us, by oppressing us for a short time, of those in this world whose whole life is spent in oppression.
- It is reminding us of how precious our health is and how we have moved to neglect it through eating nutrient-poor manufactured food and drinking water that is contaminated with chemicals upon chemicals. If we don’t look after our health, we will, of course, get sick.
- It is reminding us of the shortness of life and of what is most important for us to do, which is to help each other, especially those who are old or sick. Our purpose is not to buy toilet rolls.
- It is reminding us of how materialistic our society has become and how, when in times of difficulty, we remember that it’s the essentials that we need (food, water, medicine) as opposed to the luxuries that we sometimes unnecessarily give value to.
- It is reminding us of how important our family and home life is and how much we have neglected this. It is forcing us back into our houses so we can rebuild them into our homes and strengthen our family unit.
- It is reminding us that our true work is not our job, that is what we do, not what we were created to do. Our true work is to look after each other, to protect each other, and to be of benefit to one another. Don’t judge those who act different, experience grace and kindness for all that affects you.
- It is reminding us to keep our egos in check. It is reminding us that no matter how great we think we are or how great others think we are, a virus can bring our world to a standstill.
- It is reminding us that the power of free will is in our hands. We can choose to cooperate and help each other, to share, to give, to help and to support each other or we can choose to be selfish, to hoard, to look after only our self. Indeed, it is difficult that bring out our true colors.
- It is reminding us that we can be patient, or we can panic. We can either understand that this type of situation has happened many times before in history and will pass, or we can panic and see it as the end of the world and, consequently, cause ourselves more harm than good.
- It is reminding us that this can either be an end or a new beginning. This can be a time of reflection and understanding, where we learn from our mistakes, or it can be the start of a cycle that will continue until we finally learn the lesson we are meant to.
- It is reminding us that this Earth is sick. It is reminding us that we need to look at the rate of deforestation just as urgently as we look at the speed at which toilet rolls are disappearing off of shelves. We are sick because our home is sick.
- It is reminding us that after every difficulty, there is always ease. Life is cyclical, and this is just a phase in this great cycle. We do not need to panic; this too shall pass.
- Whereas many see the Corona/ Covid-19 virus as a great disaster, I prefer to see it as a great corrector
And, last but not the least, it is here to remind us of all the important lessons that we seem to have forgotten and it is up to us if we will choose to still learn them or not.
