Experience
In Mumbai when I was working in the software field, I heard about the late Promila Gurtu who was a kind of celebrity in our area as she had healed her eyesight and removed her spectacles by practising Chakra meditation. She also lived near our residence in Mumbai. I was very stressed at that time due to a demanding job and household responsibilities. I did become calmer and more accepting of life after I went for the meditation sessions that she conducted. She then became a good friend of mine and motivated me to meditate even when we left mumbai. A fact that I came to know later is that she was grappling with cancer and even going for therapies while doing meditation and believed strongly that this is the technique that shall keep her soul healthy no matter what was happening to her body. She remains my inspiration and guru of life though she has moved on. This is why till today I practise chakra meditation regularly and yes, it has certainly made me calmer and more peaceful in the journey of my life. It has also made me understand all aspects of my personality in a better manner.
