Unlocking the power of emotional healing
Life's journey can be fraught with challenges, leading to suppressed emotions that can have devastating consequences on our physical and mental well-being. Research suggests that repressed emotions can increase the risk of cancer by 70% and heart disease by 47%. Furthermore, physical pain can be a manifestation of unresolved trauma in the nervous system.
To truly embark on the healing journey, it's essential to confront and resolve the underlying emotional trauma. This process involves reconnecting with our past selves, including our inner child, which could be you just a millisecond ago, years back, in the womb, in past life or the generational you to uncover and release deep-seated beliefs and memories that have shaped our lives.
The subconscious programming that occurs before the age of 6 plays a significant role in shaping our beliefs and behaviors. By revisiting and healing our inner child, we can uncover the root causes of our emotional pain/beliefs and begin the process of transformation.
A remarkable example of the power of emotional healing is the journey of Vani Radhakrishnan from Bangalore, India. With the guidance of Farida Dariwala, a practitioner of the Alternate Healing Modalities, Vani was able to confront and release the trauma associated with her pregnancy, leading to a profound shift in her life. In Vani's own words, "Farida facilitated the 'rebirthing of my child', wherein she helped me in handling the trauma during my pregnancy, working on beliefs that I had made for myself, working on fears that I had held within or rather suppressed, and finally guiding me through a normal, peaceful delivery. It was a wonderful gift for myself and my child. I am very grateful to her as it helped me release pain and agony held within for years. What I liked the best was the safe space she held, firm, yet gentle, reassuring me, she took me through my entire pregnancy journey, handling bit by bit all that needed to be addressed and then went through the rebirthing. She intertwined breathing practices and it was like such a blessing to have her guide me. The shift of sensations in my body were signs of me releasing and moving into a state of deep relaxation".
Here we can see that emotions heal us remarkably whatever the technique may be.
Farida Dariwala's journey is nothing short of remarkable, evolving from a fearful bedwetting child to a survivor of Female Genital Mutilation. A people-pleasing teen, and a divorced single parent to a quirky everyman/everywoman healing haven, a place to restore, recover, and rediscover oneself.
Her enduring faith and passion guided her toward self-discovery and the belief in every individual's uniqueness, sparking a profound inner revolution. With boundless love and compassion, she helps individuals find their unique voices, drawing from extensive knowledge nearing two decades, inner work, and wisdom gained from eminent teachers worldwide. Through integrated, intuitive, and creative tools, Farida empowers individuals to heal, enhance awareness, well-being and holistic health, and contribute to the ever-evolving human journey. She is currently a practitioner in training for Inner Child Matrix (ICM) program, a therapeutic process developed by Dr Rangana Rupavi Choudhuri (PhD) that involves combing EFT with ‘The Inner Child’.
"Hope springs eternal in the human breast," a line from Alexander Pope, An Essay on Man is what Farida truly connects with, emphasising the importance of personal growth and its impact on humanity.
