Work on your best project which is you
We often feel we need to do this or that but the fact is we always need to work on our own selves as we do have all that we need in this area.
In a globalised world, we keep wanting to explore various avenues but the fact is nothing will succeed if the main ingredient which is our own selves is taken care of.
I had a friend in college who used to keep changing her priorities from one thing to another. This resulted in her daily routine being modified every now and then which in turn resulted in her falling ill quite often. Her mother despaired asking her to maintain a minimum fitness routine that she never listened to. Hence, apart from not sticking to one field, her frequent illnesses, though minor, made her not succeed in anything in life.
A similar thing happened with another friend of life who was so obsessed about studying well that she never slept in time and never, ever exercised anywhere. She also put on a lot of weight as she used to keep eating unhealthy snacks but did not take the time to have healthy, nutritious meals. This resulted in her falling sick just before her exams with all her studies being of no use.
On a positive note, my late mother in law never failed to go for a mini walk till the end of her life and combatted many challenges, including physical ones this way. So much so that even doctors gave her as an example to all their patients.
Regularity in life
We are born to maintain regularity in diet, fitness and sleep to remain healthy in body, mind and spirit. We are after all an excellent machine with all parts and all we need to do is keep them well oiled and maintained.
We all may not be athletes but do need a minimum fitness routine. Even the World hearth organisation recommends this for all.
On another note, there is no time can never be an excuse for our own selves though it is often said by many in this hyperactive world of the digital world overtaking the real world.
There are indeed many new things you could do but everywhere we need to be healthy to work in any area. An athlete we watch on TV did not become one with just a dream but worked on all aspects of his personality. Even a television actor has a fitness routine to remain healthy and fit. This is the pattern of life. Choose your goals in any area but give maximum importance to your own self. Everywhere, one needs to have a proper balance to remain holistically healthy.
This is definitely possible by thinking about it a bit and making a plan as one deems fit and fitting it into one's own daily routine. A routine is after all formed by us only so we are the boss and managers here. We just need to make the best use of all the aspects of our own selves. This is possible only with us giving our own selves ample importance.
There may be a myriad of things in the world but there is only one you. Do give it enough respect and time to lead a happy, healthy life.
