Even today, Mahatma Gandhi's relevance remains significant across various fields some of which are
1. Nonviolent Resistance which is also called Satyagraha
The nonviolent movement of Satyagraha that focuses on an adherence to truth got India independence from the British with people’s support and without violence has inspired many global movements for civil rights independence and social change including startwarts like Nelson Mandela from South Africa and Martin Luther King from the US.
2. Moral Integrity
Gandhi emphasized the importance of ethical leadership grounded in moral values such as honesty, humility, and service thus becoming a role model for all.
3. Self-Reliance#
Gandhi advocated self-sufficiency, local production, and reducing dependence on others thus advocating thinking globally while acting locally
4. Social Justice and Equality:
Gandhi fought for the abolition of untouchability and the upliftment of marginalized communities in India that was prevalent at that time.
