Enough proof now exists of the power of affirmation. To make the practice easier, Jasmine Bharathan, EFT practitioner and Energy Psychologist, has recently launched a set of affirmation cards called “My New World” Affirmation Cards. The set reflects positive and engaging ideas that cover all areas of one’s life.
She says, “The making of the cards has been an amazing experience! While I mulled over and formulated the appropriate affirmations, kids between the ages of four and 11 were busy drawing heart-felt expressions for the background in their respective homes.
The Power of Affirmations When the images and the affirmations came together, each had just the appropriate background to go with! Some may call this the magic of the Universe!'
Expanding on how she uses the cards herself, she says, “Just repeating affirmations several times has not really worked for me in a significant way.“
Instead, she uses the thoughts on these cards as ideas to engage in life pro-actively. She says, “As a result, I experience life more fully, with more energy.' She gives the example of the affirmation: “Every day, I am more available to myself, relationships and life.' She says, “Through the day, I keep that idea in mind and live it through the day’s situations. I found that I soon became a better listener, others felt good around me and I found that I was more in the present moment!'
The pack carries 21 cards of size 2” x 4”, an instructions booklet and an ethnic cloth pouch to carry them.
