Nine Easy Steps to Complete Health and Well-Being, Author: Bindya S Singh, Published By: Full Circle,Pages: 247, Rs 250
This book offers a basket of ideas for complete physical, mental and spiritual health. Nine Easy Steps to Complete Health and Well-Being, not only allows one to be completely fit and perform at one’s optimum capacity but also look good. The author offers a detailed and informative diet chart that lays the foundation for a health makeover. We are, after all, what we eat. The chart details what we should eat, how much and in what proportion with other foods. The author divulges that her own son kept falling ill until she took steps. “I arranged for him to get fresh food each day and I gave him a bottle of sanitiser because he told me he did not have enough time to wash his hands. That was the last time I saw him getting sick that year.” The book rests upon three planks: eating right, resting well and establishing connection with God. She urges the reader to recognise the energy of the Supreme Power through the laws of nature, and to harness it for oneself through self-awareness, self-awakening and self-evolution. Her nine steps include: Purify, focus, rejuvenate, nourish, energise, relax, connect, evolve and synchronise. One wishes she had elaborated on these steps a little more, though. If it is sound advice on holistic health that you are looking for, you might want to check out what this book has to say.
