By Life Positive

June 2010

Our homegrown ayurveda has wise advice on how to cope with the dog days of summer. The heat tends to diminish the body’s strength, dry the kapha (one of the three humours or body types determined by ayurveda) in people, animals, plants, foods and aggravate vata (another body type; the third is pitta). Satvic food is therefore your best bet to stay balanced and healthy.
