Dream Big

Dear Reader,

“Dream is not that which you see while sleeping, it is something that  does not let you sleep,” said the late former president Abdul Kalam  Azad.

The lead story for the November issue of Life Positive, Dreamers Make  a Better World is based on the power of dreams. When people dream  big and pull out all full stops in order to achieve it, the heavens  conspire to make it come true.

While it’s effortless to dream while sleeping or weave fantasies,  realising a dream into reality requires hard work, determination,  and a never-say-die attitude.

It also demands that one think critically, change strategies if required,  overcome obstacles, and believe in oneself against all odds. The best  part of this article is that the dreamers’ dreams involved other people  and their happiness and not their own alone. They desired to see a  better, happier world, not just their own prosperity. Certainly, when  the objective is lofty the joy of achieving it becomes multifold as it  includes the jubilation of others too who have benefitted from the  success.

Another good article, The Internet of Things is about creating a  balance between your smartphone time and real life. The best thing  about this piece is that the author doesn’t condemn social media  like most people do in this day and age. Rather she highlights all  its benefits before giving readers tips on how to not let it occupy all  your personal space.

The article, Go with Your Gut highlights that the human gut possesses  an intelligence of its own, is closely connected to the immune system,  and is constantly exchanging information with the brain in  the head.

The gut feeling is then to be relied on in matters of health as  well as important life issues. Wishing you a Happy Diwali.
