Ending on a high note 
Dear Reader, 
The December issue of Life Positive has turned out to be my favourite  of 2023. It has a wide variety of articles which discuss various shades  of life that are as fascinating as they are intriguing. Navni Chawla has written a comprehensive article on different kinds  of love languages and how learning about them can intensify the  bond of your most important relationships. I believe love languages  are not limited to conjugal relationships alone but also extend to  other significant connections such as your parents and siblings. It  took me years to realise that my mother’s love language was her  being helped by someone in the kitchen. If only I had understood  her needs, I would have given her many stress-free and happy days  while growing up. 
We also have a thought-provoking article on creativity called Red  Bushes, Blue Roses. Written by Harvinder Kaur, it highlights the fact  that for the creative juices to flow unhindered, courage is required to  go off the beaten path, experiment, and be ready to fail. It is not for  those who want to play safe. Furthermore, it is a supremely meditative  activity as, eventually, you become a channel of the Divine, letting  Him unleash His most magnificent and maverick side through you. 
Little Butterfly Takes Wing is a heartwarming tale of a daughter’s  struggle with maths and her father’s fight with his inner demons as  he tries hard to inculcate in her a love for this much-dreaded subject.  Read on to go on a roller-coaster ride of emotion, drama, and all  things in between. 
The issue also carries articles on animal therapy, diseases and their  emotional causes, as well as an eye-opening story on the power of  Ho’oponopono. No better way to conclude 2023 than to  absorb the contents of the December issue and start the  new year on an upbeat note.
