Holi hai!
April 2010
To celebrate Holi, a festival that celebrates the spirit of oneness and peace among class, caste, culture and community, the Krishna Prerna Charitable Trust in Delhi, organised a musical programme, Raas Rang
This included the Nizami Brothers,Braj Mandal, fusion rock groups like Rajasthan Roots and Advaita, folk musicians like Rythms of Rajasthan and a Jordanian Sufi Troupe. A melodious meditative flute session by Brahmarishi Patriji was the precursor to the Krishna Prerna World Flute Festival to be held later this year.

Celebrating the spirit of oneness A group of 25 Brajwasi Gwals and Gopis played the famous Lath Maar and Phoolon ki Holi with the audience – a novel experience and a wondrous sight to see so many people pelting each other enthusiastically with aromatic rose petals. Their endeavor is to take Raas Rang Holi Utsav to international shores next year onwards to give a real, authentic representation of Holi to the international communities and Indian diaspora. Krishna Prerna Charitable Trust was formed to celebrate and encourage Indian cultural practices and traditions. The inspired task is to introduce and motivate the Indian youth and young leaders for a more joyful and healthy tomorrow.
