LIFE`S TRUTHS

Fifteen truths of life by Suma Varughese
1. Today’s truth is tomorrow’s half- truth, open to further refinement and expan sion. Therefore, beware of sticking inflexibly to any point of view or embracing it as the final truth.
2. The broader and more inclusive the viewpoint, the closer it is to the truth. Any group that believes that it has the sole custody of the truth or of God has already lost sight of the truth.
3. All people, even the worst of us, have a story and a reason for being where they are.
4. Everyone, at heart, longs to be good.
5. Everyone, at heart, is good!
6. Never make your major decisions based on logic or material gain or security. Allow your inner voice to guide you.
7. Take no emotional decisions. Wait for your emotions to pass before making any decision.
8. The universe is on our side. We are not alone in the journey through life. We are loved and supported in the most amazing way by forces we do not know but who reveal their benevolent intent in many ways.
9. Good comes out of bad. The worse the situation and the more irresoluble it may seem, the more good things flow out of it eventually if you are willing to learn from it and confront it postively.
10. Pain is the most effective and skilled teacher. Her tuition fees are high and her methods rough, but if you surrender to her, you will grow at a fever pitch.
11. There is no permanent happiness in the external world. Tune in for true fulfillment.
12. The only person who is there fully for you is yourself. And you are plenty.
13. There is nothing you cannot forgive yourself for. Nothing. We are here to learn and we are entitled to make mistakes.
14. There is nothing you cannot forgive the other for.
15. The only things that survive death are relationships and who you are. So focus on those.
