Haven’t we all said “Thank God” genuinely many times in our lives? This could be in something as trivial as finding a lost object or in someone helping you when you are in distress. Well, this book is really for you and me, the common, lay person. We find true stories shared candidly by people, about amazing coincidences, rediscovered faith, and the serenity that comes from believing in a greater power. The authors are regular people who go to work for a living, love their families and constantly struggle to make life a little better. The stories have been divided into 12 sections: Signs From Above, The Healing Power Of A Prayer, Love From Beyond, His Saving Grace, Angels Amongst Us, Answered Prayers, Everyday Miracles, Divine Appointment, Our Guardian Angel and Call From Within, with experiences, of each kind.
We find that in most cases, it is a different perspective that has made a great difference to their lives. For instance, a mother who grapples with her child’s health scare, says, “I have often wondered who or what gave me the strength to face what was absolutely the worst scare in my life. I now believe it was the power of prayer that brought a miracle into our lives.” There is conviction and genuineness in all the 101 stories, but on the flip side, some stories are not too well narrated.
Still, for those not too clear on faith, this book definitely has the potential to convince them that miracles exist and hence brings about belief in a supreme power. For those who are believers, it will only make their faith stronger. So do pick it up.
