My God tells me to bring down temples
My God tells me to burn mosques
My God tells me to decapitate if necessary
My God tells me to hate the sinners, not the sin.

My God worries a lot about details
My God ensures that rituals are followed
My God wants regular prayers and chantings.
My God loves the love I have for him,
My God does not like other gods
My God despises other religions (and so do I)
My God wants my personal attention
My God wants my unending devotion.
My God is perfect from every facet
My God is the last word.
My God can compromise on morality
My God is the only one that cares.


My God gives me the courage to burn myself.
My God gives me courage to tear myself.
My God gives me the courage to bomb myself.
My God gives me the courage to hang myself.
And then I realise that it was I who created Him!
The priests and the books and the idols,
And the churches and the temples and the mosques… all by me
Yes indeed it is true; My God is Me!
My God is Me!
