Seeds of Change: The Earth Charter & Human Potential - an exhibition created by the international NGO Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG) has been drawing appreciative crowds in 16 cities in India, not to mention 22 countries globally. An exhibition with a heart, a soul and a conscience, it focuses on sustainable development which addresses the needs of the present without jeopardising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.
As the text of the Introductory panel amply illustrates, “No matter how complex global problems may seem, it is we ourselves who have given rise to them. They cannot be beyond our power to resolve.”
Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG) is the Indian Affiliate of the Soka Gakkai International (SGI) an NGO whose over 12 million members based in 192 countries and territories work for worldwide peace, culture and education. Central to this is the belief that a fundamental change in a single individual can bring about societal transformation.
