Aura Reading Through All Your Senses; Author: Rose Rosetree; Published by: Macmillan; Pages: 236; Rs.245

Most of us know that our ‘self’ doesn’t end at our physical body. We can sense it sometimes, through hunches, feelings or a premonition. What we don't know is how to utilise these abilities and perform them at will. This book is a practical book that helps us develop our normal abilities to paranormal levels. The author is a psychic and healer in the US, who offers courses on developing psychic abilities and personal growth.

Our aura is an energy field layered with information about us, our emotions, health, spiritual development and so on. Unlike physical characteristics, an aura can’t be manipulated or faked and show us the purest picture of a person. Rose clearly mentions that since an aura is perceived by us, there is no rigid key to analyse it. A colour or feeling may mean different things to different people, and the book tries to connect the dots for you.

We could either be more visually sensitive or clairvoyant, touch sensitive or clairsentient, audibly sensitive or clairaudient, emotionally sensitive, or taste sensitive; or a combination of them. Rose helps you understand which kind of sense is the strongest in you and slowly develop it to a higher degree of sensitivity. The numerous exercises given in the book help understand how these abilities work and what one can do with them. The applications of such abilities are limitless. From checking the energetic vibrations of food and judging if it is good for you, to seeing the vitality of plants and flowers, understanding the moods and emotions of animals, seeing through the fake appearances people may put up, and appreciating music at a new level, such senses bring about an a new depth in one's life. The book opens one up to this through exercises and slowly over time one can develop these abilities to a degree where they are reliable and accurate.
